What’s Gronk up to?
He’s recovering from back surgery the way only Gronk can…

A video posted by Rob Gronkowski (@gronk) on Dec 2, 2016 at 6:52pm PST

Here he is in happier times… doing a commercial for Madden 17, when he was healthy… and on the cover… when no one who is on the cover stays healthy the next season…
For a list of cover athletes, LOOK AT THIS. Either John’s got some really weird mojo going on (even his beloved Brett Favre got hit with it) OR football is a REALLY violent game where it’s a miracle that everyone doesn’t get really hurt EVERY week.

First Runner Up:
It’s a TIE!!!  The Jets, 49ers, Dolphins & Panthers
Way to earn your paychecks, guys!
The Jets were… well… the Jets. They completely embarrassed themselves and didn’t even pressure Andrew Luck (the guy you might have recognized this year as a piñata) in a 41-10 loss on MNF.
The 49ers lost 26-6 in snowy Chicago. They were penalized 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct after several players did snow angels in the end zone after a return TD. The problem? The return guy stepped out of bounds at the 4. No TD AND you get the ball at the 19, not the 4. Colin Kaepernick was benched in the 4th quarter after going 1-5 for 4 yards passing. Hey, Chip Kelly, do you know how to acquire more passing yards? Try calling more than 5 pass plays in 3 quarters you dummy!
The Dolphins were 7-4 and on a 6 game win streak. They got smoked 38-6 by the Ravens. The RAVENS!!! Baltimore was averaging 19.9 ppg before the game. You can’t name their running backs. Try it.
The Panthers were 4-7, going into SNF AT Seattle (bitter rival for the last few seasons) with their playoff hopes flickering. Cam decides to test the coach by not wearing a tie, even though he was given the option of several types on hand by the team. Riverboat Ron benches him for the first series. The first series was one play, as Derek Anderson (yes that Cleveland Browns Derek Anderson) started, had a counter-roll right screen pass to Mike Tolbert. The ball flicked off of Tolbert’s hands for an interception. 3-0 Seattle off the bat and the Panthers never really recovered, losing 40-7.
Winner:
Johnny Manziel

Welp, looks like not only is his possible career as a NFL QB over, he seems to not care at all. Your boy was in Miami this weekend at Art Basel, pounding bottles.
So if you’re going there to do that and put whatever you think you had as a career as a NFL QB (which was already on life support) in jeopardy, you’ve got some logic issues. Here’s a guy I don’t usually reference to explain exactly what is the issue with Johnny:
This… THIS is the world we live in?
