I’ll take ‘Crazy Ass Blondes’ for $400, Alex

Over the last year, it seems as though young hollywood starlets/socialites have become nuttier than a ‘Payday’ candy bar. Just think of these people who have ‘gone nuts’: Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Nicole Ritchie, Amy Winehouse, just to name a few. Below are their ‘Before’ pictures, the ones that were taken before the entertainment/gossip industry got their hooks into them. You would think that there must be some kind of cataclysmic cosmic event that made all of these girls go cuckoo for cocoa puffs. I don’t remember actors or actresses going absolutely berserk.

Then it hit me… never before have we had SO MUCH COVERAGE of every little thing happening in the world. There was no TMZ.com or Perez Hilton. Anyone else with a computer and a blog can ‘report’ on what is going on. Video can be uploaded or streamed from anywhere instantaneously online. ‘Established’ news organizations must try to keep up with this kind of rogue reporting because they feel the need to ‘get it first’. Now combine that with the constant pressure from the film and/or music industry to put out a product that will sell while looking as eye-popping as you can, and it’s NO WONDER why 16-24 year olds can’t ever seem to act ‘normally’. Can you imagine every single day of your life, everywhere you go, having to put up with THIS?!?

Are you kidding me? I wouldn’t put up with that garbage. People are now just paid to harass you into snapping. Then once you snap, they have it on video, upload it to their website, and try to get as many ‘hits’ on their site as possible, so they can charge more for their ad-space and get paid more so they can hire more people to harass other people like you and around and around in a vicious circle it goes.
These pictures below are all of the same women after a couple of years in that environment. To be sure, it is a Faustian proposition. You can receive the rewards of fame and fortune, but you must also deal with the temptations of drugs, alcohol, film/music industry pressure for product, and look good while doing it:

After reading this, I would hope you look at these young women a little differently than you did before reading this. If you’re 30 or older, think about how you handled things when you were 16-24 years old. You probably look back and laugh at how you handled situations in every day life. Now add Millions of dollars, career pressure, financial pressure, pressure to stay physically flawless all the while you’re uprooting yourself and traveling all over the world. Now add the fact that you’re still trying to mature mentally and make good business decisions and personal decisions, AND everything you do and everywhere you go is being ‘reported’ by someone following you, and it’s rather easy to see why they’ve hit the bottle , pot, or pharmaceuticals.
